I met Allison years ago when she came to visit Texas and stayed at my in-laws’ house nearby. From the moment we met, Allison’s warmth made me feel as if we had known each other for years. To her, I was not the cousin’s wife she’d never met—I was family, and family was everything to Allison. Allison was funny and loving, and I will miss her.
