I will always remember when my family came to England and briefly visited with the Causey family. The families went to a beach in Clacton. Cousin Allison encouraged me to run into the sea with her. Off we went, and I was determined to outrun her as we splashed in. To my incredible surprise, the water was so cold that it felt like it burned me. Allison shot past me, and after I charged out of the water, I saw her happily swimming on top of the waves. I don't know if she enjoyed the water or besting her cousin more. Either way, even though we only had a moment of childhood together, she helped generate a bright memory for me. She stayed in contact with my parents until just recently and was always thinking of them. She was very kindhearted and will be missed. Nigel Atkinson December 3, 2020
